Charcot shower equipment from the manufacturer
Charcot shower is a body massage with a pressurised water jet from a distance: the therapist directs the jet from the shower desk, working first on problem areas and then on the whole body in the sequence of a classic massage. The procedure takes about 5 minutes, does not require immersion in a bathtub and is used in sanatoriums, water treatment centres, rehabilitation and SPA centres for weight loss, cellulite reduction, rehabilitation and general wellbeing.
Shower desks and installations
- PROXIMA shower installation, DSH-2 Lux and DSH-2 — shower desks for Charcot shower. Water is supplied to the massage nozzles through two independent channels with separate temperature and pressure control.
- Circular shower installation — for circular shower procedures; often installed in the same room as the Charcot shower.
- Up-going shower installation — a seat with a built-in massage nozzle for pelvic therapy in urology, gynaecology and proctology.
Circular and up-going showers can be placed next to the Charcot shower and controlled from the shower desk, so one treatment room can offer several procedures.
Installation, warranty and staff training
The shower desk is installed and commissioned by a POLYPROMSYNTES specialist, which is a condition of the warranty: 1 year on electrical and plumbing parts and 2 years on coatings. Before you buy, our service engineer will explain the requirements for water supply, power and room size. For therapists without experience we provide Charcot shower training — 1 business day.
